Downloadable NeoGeo classics on PS3 but not 360?

Fans of SNK classics such as King of Fighters would love to see a selection of the firm's classic Neo-Geo titles available to download on Sony's PlayStation Store and Xbox Live Arcade.We've all seen how well Street Fighter II' Hyper Fighting recently did on Xbox Live and the call's already been made for more retro fighters to be released. Speaking to CVG Soichiro Hosoya, director of SNK game titles, said, "We've discussed an online delivery service for our classic NeoGeo titles through next-gen formats and Sony Computer Entertainment has agreed to our propositions." All good then in the world of PlayStation, though what the games will be and when they'll launch haven yet to be confirmed. .

Capcom Classics Collection Reloaded

We like a good retro compilation, with the Taito Legends duo, Sonic Mega Collection and the first two Midway Arcade Treasures collections being the very definition of good. Capcom Classics Collection Remixed - released on PSP only a few months ago - didn't make that list, as it was missing Street Fighter II and Ghouls 'n Ghosts. But now that they're here, on both this tiny UMD and in our hands, we're reminded of an old saying: be careful what you wish for. Street Fighter II - available in normal, World Championship Edition and Hyper Fighting flavours - brought back plenty of gooey nostalgia, but the PSP's d-pad isn't really suitable for pulling off dragon punches and whatnot. Don't even try to do it with the analogue slider - more often than not Ken and Ryu ending up jumping all over the place instead of performing a hurricane kick.

Teenage Champion Snowboarders Battle it Out on Xbox Live Arcade

Brother and sister duo Spencer and Brooke Shaw, who are USASA (United States of America Snowboard Association) champions at the young ages of 13 and 15 respectively, will desert the slopes, and swap ski caps for headsets as part of the latest Xbox Live Game with Fame session – the first ever featuring a Xbox Live Arcade title.
