Capcom announces Lost Planet: Extreme Condition Collector's ... Capcom, a leading worldwide developer and publisher of video games, today announced that its arctic sci-fi action shooter, Lost Planet: Extreme Condition just got even cooler, with a Collector's Edition that will be available in stores simultaneously with the standard edition. Packaged in a custom designed SteelBook case featuring exclusive cover art , this premium set will include the game, art book with exclusive concept art and a heap of multimedia content. As a special bonus, gamers that purchase the Collector's Edition will have exclusive access to an additional multiplayer map for several months before it is made available as a free download on Xbox Live Marketplace, in summer 2007.
Exclusively available for Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, the standard edition will carry a suggested retail price of $59.99 and the limited Collector's Edition will be available for $69.99, while supplies last. Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City, San Andreas, Liberty City Stories and now Vice City Stories. It's five games in six years, which could hardly be described as overkill compared to the antics of other publishers. The enormous sales (over 40 million copies worldwide) and high review scores also suggest most people's appetites for carjacking and mischief making are not yet satiated.
