The updated version of the 2GB Memory Stick Entertainment Pack for the PSP has a product name of MSX-M2GSEP2. It is slated to be available in May 2007 itself.

The updated 2GB Memory Stick Entertainment Pack for the PSP is bundled with an installer DVD that is loaded with blockbuster movies such as Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby,"Spiderman 2", Hellboy", and S.W.A.T". These movies have been optimized for PSP playback.

Details on Square-Enix Party

So now that the Square-Enix Party is over with, what was it that they announced? A lot of rumors surrounding Sony and Square-Enix can actually be laid to rest with the wrap-up of this party, as Square-Enix's announcements seem to have been largely focused around the PlayStation brand. On Saturday we mentioned just a some of the tidbits to come from the party, but here's the official breakdown:

Final Fantasy XIII was shown off behind closed doors during the event, and while details on the game still remain scarce, it looks like Square-Enix will not be releasing the game on any console besides the PlayStation 3. All we know about FFXIII is that it's been in development way before FFXII was even completed.

Final Fantasy versus XIII was also shown off, and it too will remain a PlayStation 3 exclusive.

Death Jr. and the Science Fair of Doom

Konami and Backbone Entertainment will soon be unleashing the son of Death on the Nintendo DS in Death Jr. and the Science Fair of Doom. The game is set in Death Jr.s high school where the various experiments of the otherworldly students have run amuck. With an art style that can only be described as Tim Burton meets Rankin and Bass, Science Fair is a blend of 2.5D and 3D platforming. Action takes place primarily on the lower screen, with the d-pad and left trigger controlling his movement and jumping respectively. Attacks are performed with taps and swipes on the stylus and can be chained together to pull off special moves and combos for more powerful results. The game also includes the ability to play as Pandora, DJs smitten Goth Girl. Youll often need to switch between both characters in parts of the game to solve cleverly crafted puzzles.
