New Online PS3 Content Available Sony may not be offering downloadable content for the PS3 at the Playstation Store on a regular basis like the Xbox 360 or Nintendo Wii, but every once in a while they drop a few things off for gamers to pick up. Today, a variety of content has become available including original arcade games, trailers and the PSOne games that were previously promised with the 1.70 firmware update Gamers will now find a free demo and the full game ($6.99) of the much talked about Super Rub a Dub title at previous Sony press conferences. These cute little ducks have mostly been used as tech demonstrations for not only the PS3 but the PS2 as well. Now they have their very own game where you navigate ducks in tubs filled with water using the motion sensing capabilities of the SixAxis controller. The second Midway arcade classic from Sony Online Entertainment, Gauntlet II is also available. BlackSite Area 51 Demo Hits XBL Marketplace Midway's highly anticipated action FPS title, BlackSite: Area 51, is now live and playable for the first time via Xbox Live Marketplace with an exciting single-player teaser demo, which provides a glimpse of what's to come when it hits shelves later this year in September 2007. http://www.blacksitegame.com/ is also now live and features ALL-NEW downloadable game assets, such as screenshots, concept art, and a teaser demo walk-through video featuring BlackSite's Creative Director, Harvey Smith, as narrator. Oasys Mobile Signs Licensing Deal with 2K RALEIGH, N.C. -- Oasys Mobile, Inc. (OTCBB: OYSM) today announced it has signed a licensing deal with 2K, a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTWO), to develop mobile versions of three popular Sid Meier sim games, including Sid Meiers Civilization IV, Sid Meiers Railroad Tycoon and Sid Meiers Pirates!. The PS3 are clearing the halls for with releases due in September. Word has it that Sony has released dates and titles for their games that will be make a debut in September. After starting out on the loose end, with their launch of the PS3, and very few titles to tag along with the system, loyal fans will have a lot to look forward to this fall. Some of the games that were mentioned to be released are Heavenly Sword, which places you in the role of a heroine who must guide her way through waves of enemies, a mystical and dragon fighting game Lair and The Air, vehicular combat game Warhawk, first person shooter Killzone, and of course Ratchet & Clank.
