Microsoft has yet to announce plans for the Elite's UK release.

'Medal of Honor' title earns no merits

Are there no other wars to plumb for material? Surely there are history books lining library shelves overstuffed with stories of guts and glory.

But Electronic Arts dips into the WWII well once again for its "Medal of Honor" franchise with "Vanguard," which follows the 82nd Airborne's first foray into combat.

Medal of Honor: Vanguard Medal of Honor: Vanguard PS2 Review

Vanguard is the latest and probably the last in the long running World War II first person shooter series from EA on the PS2.

Way back in the early days of the PS2, gamers were impressed by the jaw dropping and emotionally charged beach landing opening level of the first MoH game to surface on the PS2 - Frontline.

Numerous games and various settings have subsequently been made in the series and while the game mechanics have improved over time no other version ever seemed to catch the raw energy and immersive atmosphere of Frontline - Is Vanguard the standout and final high point of the series?

Story
In Vanguard you assume the role of paratrooper Frank Keegan who also acts as the narrator giving some background to the various missions you undertake.

Call of Duy 4: Modern Warfare (PS3/Xbox 360/Wii?) Confirmed ...

Just days after Infinity Ward hinted at it in a forum post, Activision confirmed this morning that Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare will indeed be revealed this Saturday, April 28th. The reveal itself will take place sometime during the NFL Draft on ESPN, which begins at 1PM EDT.

Aside from confirming that the next Call of Duty will be set in a more modern environment (because, you know, the subtitle is Modern Warfare), we still know very little about the game. Will it be set in the present day, or in a "near future" setting like the Ghost Recon franchise? Will it focus on real-world events like the previous installments (which could be a sensitive topic given today's world climate), or will there be an alternate version of the world we live in with a fictional conflict to fight?

One assumption we do feel confident making though is that the game will at least come to all major consoles (Xbox 360, PS3, Wii) and PC, given the success of Call of Duty 3 on multiple platforms last year.
