Bank deputy throws down gauntlet on growth plans after break with ...

Rachel Lomax, Deputy Governor of the Bank of England, issued a challenge to fellow members of the Monetary Policy Committee last night not to endanger growth and employment needlessly by trying to guard against nugatory risks.

Curfew pilot program extended in Rochester

Just days before Rochester's city-wide youth curfew was set to expire, city council votes to extend the 90-day pilot program. The extension will allow the city more time to review the results before making a final decision.

The council voted 8-1 to extend the pilot program through January 31st.
