One of them hears your breathing and investigates. Your heart races and your whole body shivers. You stay in shadows while he decides he imagined the whole thing… What do you do? Create advantage by shooting the lights out and sneak behind without even being noticed. Surprise them from behind and eliminate them one by one? Maybe climb up on a pipeline and creep quietly towards the guards eventually knocking them out from above. It is all up to you… one thing is for certain, going out of the shadows and shooting like crazy will not get you far, I promise you that. .

License bill vote delayed

A state law inspired in part by a Marengo alderman to punish military license-plate fraud probably will not come to a vote until early next year.The secretary of state’s office wanted approval during the ongoing fall veto session of House Bill 4561, which makes fraudulently acquiring military license plates a misdemeanor punishable by a $1,000 fine.But because the purpose of the legislative session is to review bills vetoed by the governor, it will not come up until the spring session begins in January."We intend to pursue the legislation in the spring session, and we hope to be successful in getting it passed at that time," said Nathan Maddox, secretary of state legal counsel.Secretary of State Jesse White requested the law in December after learning that Marengo Alderman Werner "Jack" Genot had acquired ex-prisoner of war and Purple Heart license plates with forged discharge papers.Genot confessed in November 2005 that he fabricated his well-known stories of Korean War heroism in the Marines, following investigations by the McHenry County Marine Corps League and the Northwest Herald.The bill unanimously passed the House in February and was set for a Senate vote in April.

In combining bubblegum pop, pretty trinkets and dress-up with a risqu treatment of the female form, Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 occupies a curious middle ground between Just 17 and Playboy; in danger of alienating the girls with its blatant voyeurism, while its cutesy guff threatens to put off the boys. Fuck the series apologists who claim its not about horny, pre-pubescent teenage lads and the DD-deprived Japanese getting their kicks from the polygonal realisation of the female body, because thats exactly what it is. However, to see Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 as just that is very foolish indeed. Behind the numerous (and they are numerous) shots of crotches and bouncing chests that flood the opening cut scene lies a game that isnt as dim as the air-headed dialogue would have the player believe. In jettisoning the Volleyball tag from the sequels title, Team Ninja have recognised that the series focus has always been the vacation as opposed to the sport; reinforced by a selection of brand new activities.
