Myth War Online's Pet Encyclopedia now online

IGG has just announced the Myth War Online Pet Encyclopedia where, as the product's name suggests, you can get a primer on anything and everything related to your in-game pets.

The tail-and-fur-donning fellas never had it this good, as the encyclopedia is brimming with pet features, training tips, info on their skill sets, and much much more. Far from suffering the same fate that the MU Online pets faced, the creatures in Myth War Online are having a whole webpage dedicated entirely to them.

Just in case it has slipped your knowledge, there are currently six different species of pets in Myth War Online, each having distinct characteristics and set of skills. What's even more interesting is that the Myth War pets can level up faster than their masters. Kinda makes you think who really plays the master, eh? From this alone you guys can probably sense already that the pets in Myth War are indispensable and more complex than your good old Lassie.

MU Online: Pets replaced

Oh my God! what's this? MU Online gamers are losing their pets already and yet, our last coverage on this MMO dates back to the Old Stone Age? But wait, what if we stole the pets and that's exactly why we're so mum about this MMO. Haha, don't laugh. It could be a possibility. Don't you think so?
At any rate, we guess we'll just have to proceed. Apparently, a recent migration affected Dark Lord pets. Now, players are having a hard time and finding these poor little creatures. Fortunately for them, developer K2 Network has already come up with a solution to the problem. The company's official statement reads,

K2 Network is currently fixing Dark Lord pets affected by the migration. However, in order for us to fix your pet's level, you must submit a ticket; it will not automatically be done.

D-Link DGL-4100 Broadband Gaming Router, 4-Port Gigabit Switch

I hated replacing my L*nksys BEFVP41, because it forced me to use a software VPN solution vs. the build in hardware crypto solution. The bottom line is that I needed a router that didn't need extremely frequent reboots, primarily after (more like *during*) bittorrent sessions. B.Shock mentions upgrading with a 2006.1.11 firmware update, but there is no such update. I'm currently running firmware v1.7 with game fuel activated and appropriate rules set up. I also run a home web and e-mail (linux based) server, 3 client machines and a laptop. The UPnP implementation is much more solid than the previous router as well. In addition, I've had torrent running, usenet binary grabs, playing Unreal Tournament 2004 online while my wife was on Skype (w/ video) to Europe with friends with no issues. I've had zero reboots of the router.

Gravity Enters Into Licensing Agreements For Online Game Ragnarok ...

(RTTNews) - Wednesday morning, Gravity Co. Ltd. (GRVY | charts | news | PowerRating), a South Korea-based online game developer and publisher, revealed that it entered into licensing agreements for its online game, Ragnarok Online 2 or RO2, in Japan and Thailand, following the Memorandum of Understanding or MOUs that it entered into with various licensees in each country in August 2006.

The company said that the agreement was entered into with GungHo Online Entertainment in Japan on September 29, 2006 and with Asiasoft Corp. in Thailand on September 22, 2006 effective from the commercial service date of the game. The company expects to earn US$23 million or more in license fees and minimum guaranteed payments during the first two to three years from the date of commencement of commercial services in these two markets.

Dive into this Vanguard: Saga of Heroes video preview

There's nothing that shows off the developer's intent with a video game than a video of the gameplay, WITH the developer/s giving background commentary every minute or so. So, in watching this PR preview video for Sigil Games Online's Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, we have an even better idea of what the game is, and how it looks like and will play, than any interview or trailer, short of kidnapping the devs and torturing the info out of them.

And accompanying us on this preview are Sigil CEO Brad McQuaid and "partner in crime" Jeff Butler. Using the beta tests and other gameplay footage they have, they walk us through so much of the game.
The 19 character race varieties to choose from, and the "unparalleled" character customization. The game's feature that allows you to own your own house, and to trade it in for bigger properties as you level up.
