Five arraigned in probe of retail fraud ring

DEARBORN -- Five people were arraigned today on charges of receiving and possessing stolen items such as big screen televisions and PS2 game systems, following a seven-month investigation into a major retail fraud ring at several Metro Detroit businesses.

Dearborn police Wednesday executed search warrants and arrested five men at several businesses in Dearborn, Center Line, Detroit, and at homes in Farmington Hills and Southfield. Police seized several items, including large-screen televisions, more than 35,000 DVD's, 1,200 cell phone accessories, two handguns, three cars and $17,000 in cash.

Ednan Samona, Sawsan Najeeb Haji and Danny Najeeb Haji were each charged with four felonies, including conducting a criminal enterprise and receiving and concealing stolen property.

Guitar Hero 80’s Edition Set To Rock Geriatric Old Ladies' Socks

The phenomenon that is Guitar Hero is bigger than you. Its bigger than me. Hell, its even bigger than Lou Diamond Phillips performance in the movie Bats (and thats saying a lot.)

So it should come as no surprise that yet another iteration in the rock out with your socks out franchise is going to be coming out soon. But who would of thunk that it would come out with such an awesome premise?

Guitar Hero: Rock the 80s, which Destroctoid.com claims is set to launch on July 18th, is going to feature some of your favorite hair metal bands and (hopefully) synth heavy tunes. Already confirmed are I wanna rock, by Twisted Sister (yes!), I Ran, by Flock of Seagulls (No!), and Holy Diver, by (wait for it) DIO!

The game is set to be a PS2 exclusive and will be yet another game people are going to call the systems swan song (as if claiming God of War 2 as the systems swan song wasnt just a bit premature, especially with the PS3s crummy sales).
