Sony lowers PSP prices for Cyprus to EUR 170 Gibareio Ltd., Cyprus official distributor for Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) announced that PSP (PlayStationPortable) would enjoy a new, lower price point in Cyprus of CYP 99 (EUR 170), with the new price effective from last Friday.
In addition, five new Platinum titles will be launched concurrently with a new, lower price for all PSP Platinum titles of CYP 12.50 (EUR 21.50) -- Ridge Racer 2, Tekken, Killzone, Loco Roco, and Moto GP.
The combined effect of the two price reductions will unleash PSP, making it a must have portable system for all entertainment enthusiasts, and allowing them to enjoy the breadth and depth of entertainment opportunities available from PSP, explained Sharon Green, Managing Director of Gibareio Ltd.
PSP is unique and is constantly evolving.
It's happened for US and UK gamers, and now it's finally the Aussies' turn. After stating a price drop for the PlayStation Portable wasn't imminent only a few weeks ago, Sony Computer Entertainment Australia (SCEA) has now announced that the PSP will indeed be cheaper Down Under. From today, the core PSP pack will cost A$279.95, down from A$329.95. The price drop comes after similar reductions in the US and the UK, which saw the PSP's cost fall $30 to $169.99 in the States and down 20 to 129.99 for the Brits. And it's not only the handheld which is dipping its cost--Platinum titles for the PSP will now cost A$29.95, down A$10. To coincide with the new price, SCEA has released five new Platinum titles--Ridge Racer 2, Tekken: Dark Resurrection, Killzone, Loco Roco and Moto GP.
Ken Nakazawa Speaks on Sony’s Big Plans for the PS3 in India The PlayStation 3 was the second next-gen console to be launched in India.
