RoboBlitz PC Game Review

DSM has a review up on Roboblitz, a third person action/puzzle game that uses the Unreal3 engine. The screenshots are very impressive, so be sure to check them out.

We are all eagerly awaiting the release of Unreal Tournament 2007, while we wait we can get a nice preview of what's yet to come from some of the games developed on the new Unreal3 engine. One such game is RoboBlitz, which I have for review today. In my humble opinion, one word can really sum up this game and that word is 'Beautiful'.

RoboBlitz launches on Steam ( News )

RoboBlitz, soon to be released on Xbox Live Arcade, has been released for the PC through Valve's Steam system.

Priced at US$ 14.95, the Unreal Engine 3-based, physics-driven action game in which a young robot called Blitz has to solve puzzles and "do some violence" across 19 levels, on the way to activating a Space Cannon to sort out some "maladjusted space pirates".

But don't take their word for it - if you've got Steam, you can actually download a trial version and see whether you like the cut of its robotic jib.

RoboBlitz demo on Steam

RoboBlitz is described as a "a humorous, physics-based action game full of inventive gizmos, weapons, characters, and environments". You play Blitz, a robot with multiple talents who is attempting activate an old space cannon to save his planet from "maladjusted space pirates" - all of which occurs over 19 levels. Buying it off Steam will cost you $14.95, but there's also a demo available so you can see if it's your cup of tea before dipping into your wallet.
