Grand Theft Auto IV: New Details Emerge

Grand Theft Auto fans are craving for every bit of info on the next installment in the series. Well, today is a good day for them: one lucky gay has seen GTA IV in action and he's ready to talk about it.

Gta4.net has an interview with Game Informer's Andrew Reiner. Here are a few of the highlights, related to flying, climbing and the much-dreaded loading screens:"There are no airplanes in the game, but flying is still there. One means of this is the helicopter. As Dan pointed out, this is just one city and a plane really doesn't fit into that very well for gameplay. Flying is still very much a large part of the game.""I didn't see Niko climb a ladder, per se, but I did see him ascend a telephone pole to get a bird?s eye view of Liberty City. He didn't climb up it like a gorilla, however.

2007 Star Wars Weekends Merchandise

A few months ago, fans got a sneak peek at four new exclusive maquettes bound for this year's Star Wars Weekends at Disney-MGM Studios in Florida. Visitors will have a bunch more exclusives waiting for them this year when the annual event stops in for four consecutive weekends between June 1 and June 24, with a great poster, pins, figures and other collectibles now readying for release.

Action figure collectors will want to keep an eye out for the five cantina band members who will be offered in the new 2007 packaging with a Star Wars Weekends sticker attached. Each figure includes a different instrument, and pressing a button on the base plays a selection of cantina band music.

In addition to the slideshow depicting some of the Weekends wares fans can expect next month, we're also showcasing a selection of illuminated signage that will be appearing in Orlando International Airport this summer.
