Brothers In Arms Making Its Way To The Wii?

It has been no surprise that the next generation of Brothers In Arms is nothing short of impressive. While its still a ways off from release, every gamer is probably questioning whether Brothers In Arms: Hells Highway is going to make its way to the Wii? Well, with the success of Call of Duty 3, another World War II shooter probably wouldnt be a bad addition to Nintendos lineup.

Utilizing advanced physics (much like Midways Stranglehold), BIA: Hells Highway offers a whole new level of military combat and immersive warfare. So I contacted a representative at Gearbox to see if the developers had a little something cooking in the oven for the Nintendo Wii. Even though I hate to be a buzz-kill, the PR commented that... Currently, Gearbox hasn't announced anything regarding Hell's Highway and the Wii,

Although, given that Ubisoft is a heavy third-party supporter for Wii that doesnt mean there wont be a Brothers In Arms for Nintendos new system.

The Sri Lankan government's broadcast stranglehold

Colombo --- The Sri Lankan government's suspension of Raja FM on Nov. 9 has raised more concerns about the absence of transparency and due process in the government's dealings with stations that are not supported by the state. Similar government actions have come to characterise Sri Lanka's broadcast liberalisation process over the last 15 years.

It is also a firm reminder that the once-dreaded cultural police and moral guardians are back, wearing new robes of extreme nationalism and fundamentalism. The ban of the private radio channel is merely the latest in a series of assaults on freedom of expression.

Raja FM is owned by Colombo Communication Private Limited, one of nearly two dozen commercial channels that crowd the FM bandwidth. The government said it shut down the channel because it "broadcast anti social and extremely repulsive and vulgar material that could corrupt the society, specially [sic] the younger generation." The Ministry of Mass Media and Information claimed it "received a large number of complaints from the intellectuals, religious leaders, media personnel and society leaders," and thus banned the radio channel under a 40-year-old law, the Societal Good Conduct Act No.

IUP Continues Stranglehold on Team Lead at IUP Invitational

The IUP swim teams continued their stranglehold on the team lead and added 10 more event wins on the second day of the IUP Invitational at Memorial Field House.

The IUP women have 775.5 points to lead California (611.5), Slippery Rock (310), Mansfield (249) and West Virginia Wesleyan (182). The men have 533 points, well ahead of West Virginia Wesleyan (316). Kate Rowe added to her wins in the 500 free and 200 IM on Friday by capturing two more individual event titles on Saturday. Rowe won the 200 free (1:59.03) and posted an NCAA B cut time in the 100 breast with a time of 1:07.62. Joining Rowe with wins on the womens side were Carlee Myers in the 100 fly (1:00.11) and Casey Beck in the 100 back (1:02.06). Brittany Watkins was second in the 400 IM (4:48.41).

Kuwait traps gold to break China stranglehold

DOHA - Kuwait broke Chinas stranglehold on the Asian Games shooting ranges on Sunday with double success in the mens trap.

China remains runaway leaders, however, after sweeping to their 10th shooting gold by taking both the mens and womens air pistol individual and team titles. China took all six shooting golds on offer on Saturday.

Tan Zongliang and Tao Luna retained their mens and womens air pistol titles after also guiding China to team victories. Kuwaits Naser Meqlad mastered gusty winds to make up for the modest efforts of team mates Khaled Almudhaf and Abdulraham Al Faihan and claim gold in the team trap, before going on to claim the individual title. The team victory was Kuwaits first medal of the Doha Asiad. It was tough for everybody, but I showed a little more control, said the chubby 24-year-old piano student.

FIFA: CSKA maintain Moscow stranglehold

/noticias.info/ Since its formation in 1992 following the break-up of the Soviet Union, the Russian national championship has been dominated by a Moscow triumvirate.

This season, after another three-way title battle which Zenit St. Petersburg briefly threatened to gatecrash, there were once again celebrations in the capital, with the arms of CSKA Moscow raised in triumph. Valeri Gazzaev's side's 4-0 victory away to Luch-Energia clinched the club its third Premier League crown in four years with a game to spare, and ensures that CSKA now outrank city rivals Spartak and Lokomotiv as the competition's most successful side since the turn of the millennium.

Their success this season can be attributed to proficiency at both ends of the field. Offensively, with their exciting Brazilian quartet at the forefront, CSKA delighted crowds and tormented opponents in equal measure.

Zune: Breaking the iPod Stranglehold

Microsoft's biggest challenge with the Zune might not be solvable through offering more choices than the iPod or even a better business model than Apple's iTunes; Microsoft must contend with the brand appeal of the iPod that keeps its users loyal enough to keep buying upgraded versions. In other words, it must contend with the fact that Apple is the current king of cool, and the Zune is not yet hot. .

Phantasy Star Universe multiplayer video tutorial

I'll admit it: there are times I turn to FAQs for help in getting through RPGs for those times when you just simply can't move forward in the game. Sigh... Recently though, we find that Phantasy Star Universe for the Xbox 360 and PC is no different (particularly because of the non-interactive interface, and the world, and combat tutorials in the 360 demo), so while the honorable player will still insist on earning his level-ups the hard way, he is not as foolish as to ignore some Word from the Wise.

And the Wiseman for today is Ben Harrison, product manager at Sega of America, who comes to us with this multiplayer tutorial video clip which was generously provided by Sega and IGN. He will walk you though the important steps of navigating the world of PSU, from character creation to combat central.
