Test Drive Unlimited

For those looking for a Grand Turismo, this game isn't for you. But for die hard Test Drive fans, you will absolutely love it. The game starts out with your choice of 8 drivers to choose from (5 guys and 3 girls). You get to make a quick trip in your choice of an Audi Quatro, Lotus Elise, or Chevy SSR. After accumulating enough cash, you can purchase a starter vehicle and a starter home. Yes, you get to buy a home. In addition to home purchases, you also get to buy clothes. In the game, there are missions where you will be a taxi driver and drop people off at their destination within a given time frame. In doing this, you will earn one to five dollars. Once you acquire the cash, you can visit one of the many stores for new pants, shoes, jackets, hats and motorcycle wear. Also, once you own a home you may edit the looks of your character.

Xbox 360 Review - 'Need for Speed: Carbon'

In a crowded launch lineup that featured three solid racing games, Need for Speed: Most Wanted for the Xbox 360 was a surprising breath of fresh air. I had expected little more than a gussied-up port of the Xbox version, but what I got was an excellent port that featured enhancements to both the graphics and gameplay alike. It was the less-rigid, arcade-style alternative to Project Gotham Racing 3, and the more-exciting, less-repetitive substitute for Ridge Racer 6.

Nearly a year has passed since the launch of the Xbox 360, and the racing market is more crowded than ever. In the last several months, we have seen the brilliant port of Burnout Revenge, not to mention the unique Test Drive Unlimited, a casual cruiser that brings commerce and community into the fray. A number of other titles, including Full Auto and MotoGP 06, have taken the basic racing mold in other directions with varying amounts of success.

17:47 GT:HD is now download only (1)

It was announced yesterday that Gran Turismo: High Definition will not be a retail product, but simply a game downloadable on the PS3, and will be titled Gran Turismo: High Definition Concept. Bit of a mouthful, but it means they can now focus more of their attention on a proper sequel to GT4.

Gran Turismo HD was originally set to be released in Japan somewhere in December. Sony was planning to release the title at a low cost, like they did on the PS2 with their other Concept game. Players would have to download cars and tracks through micro transactions, since there would be little included in the retail version.

Whilst the retail version has now been scrapped, the game itself has not. Concept is going to be released free on Christmas Eve (24th of December) in Japan on the Playstation Store, with future content released over a period of time which hasn't yet been specified.

Ford Motor Company pumps up its line of vehicle personalization ...

As you walk by Ford Motor Companys display at the 2006 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas, you might think youve wandered into the Ford section of one of the many thousands of aftermarket companies that fill the hall. On the contrary, the company that builds two of the most accessorized vehicles in the country, the F-150 pickup and the Mustang, is just claiming its rightful share of the $34 billion vehicle personalization market.

If you take a look at the sales trends of accessories over the last five years or so, the growth rate has exceeded 10 percent a year, and Ford''s share is up a lot more than the industry. says

Chris Feuell, manager, Vehicle Personalization & Accessories for Ford Motor Company. The .

The prey becomes the hunter in Rankin's forceful 'Bleeding Heart'

A paid assassin killing time before his next hit shares a drink in a bar with a businessman as the conversation ironically turns to bleeding hearts. No room for bleeding hearts, the killer comments, then notes wryly to himself that bleeding hearts are the business.

British author Ian Rankin is back with yet another forceful, muscular novel, and the result is a gritty thriller in which the killer is more likable than his hunter, an obese, pill-popping, cocaine-sniffing New York private investigator named Leo Hoffer.

'The Secret Files: Tunguska' - v1.02 Patch Available NOW

First of all, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the unbelievable amount of feedback that we have received through the Forum or via e-mail since the release. With such tremendous support, it makes it easy to work at full speed on the successor to Secret Files: Tunguska. We are taking all of the players' suggestions to heart - and not just for Secret Files 2.

As a small gesture of our thanks, we are therefore sending you the frequently requested, reworked ending to Secret Files: Tunguska with this update. You do not necessarily have to start playing at the beginning to watch the new ending. It is enough to just load an appropriate savegame.

Also, a completely new feature, which we are also planning in a more refined form for the next release, will be activated as soon as the new final credits scroll across the screen: cut scene cinema.
