Multiplayer: Think 'Star Wars' Chess Is Cool? PS3 Has A Game For ... Is there anyone who doesn't think the holographic chess scene in "Star Wars" is cool? If so, I've never met them. Death Stars, Wookies and earmuff haircuts may go in and out of fashion, but everyone still wants to be able to play chess with little holographic monsters that strut atop a real table. In May, I experienced something similar to playing that kind of game. In a small room in the middle of the packed Sony booth at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, I was introduced to a game called "The Eye of Judgment." It ran on the PlayStation 3, and of all the games I saw on the floor — the high-definition first-person shooters, the fluid fighting games, the sweaty sports ones — it was the one that felt most futuristic. What I saw then is relevant now because Sony announced Thursday (April 26) that a PlayStation 3 camera called PlayStation Eye will be released this summer. Your picks on the best ever PlayStation games: Do you agree? The other day, as I plugged in my PS3, I got nostalgic about PSOne games. I threw out my list and you've thrown back me some thoughts. So now nail for me your favourite PS2 games. God of War II that I was playing this week and raving about will make my top 10. Fantom3X Online Gamer also kindly said my list was "spot on" but added some more: Silent Hill, Suikoden hadn't heard of that Japanese RPG!, Vandal Hearts, Final Fantasy 8, Spyro and Tekken. Test Drive Unlimited 2 to Release in 2008? Some games are so wonderful that you wish that the developers would soon release a sequel. Test Drive Unlimited is one of them. An unnamed source told a Polish website that gamers can expect Test Drive Unlimited 2 very soon. Test Drive Unlimited 2 is under development for the PC as well as Xbox 360. It is expected to have off-road racing, dynamic weather and 2,400km of road. The game will include cars and off-road vehicles. Ferrari, Maserati, Bugatti, Pagani, Saleen, McLaren, Lamborghini LM005, Mercedes GL, Audi Q7, Hummer, Range Rover and VW Touare are some of the cars that will feature in the sequel. Atari has neither confirmed nor denied that there will be a Test Drive Unlimited 2. Nevertheless, there is a speculation that the game will be launched in March 2008.
